What is Mini Hockey?

Mini hockey is a modified version of field hockey played by children under the age of 14.

Without physical contact, it is suitable for children who are active from 5 years old onwards for both genders.
 

In Hong Kong, mini hockey tournaments are separated into U6, U8, U10, U12 and U14 age group. It’s a mixed gender sport where each team of 5-7 players (varies for different age groups) must have at least 2 girls on pitch at all times. This provides an equal opportunity for both genders to explore the sport.
