End of season wishes from our Chairperson (April 2005)

| It has once again been a wonderful year for Kai Tak Mini Hockey, and I would like to thank everyone involved for making it so special.
First of all, to all the players for showing such commitment during the training sessions. The current season has ended and we look forward to getting back together in September. Provisional training dates for the 2005-06 season have been posted on the "Training Schedule" page. I am so very proud that we won the silver medal in the KCC tournament in April. I think we all had fun at the tournaments, especially the one we hosted at Lok Fu on January 30th, 2005. Such events would not be possible without our many volunteers, and I wish to thank the parents for giving us their time on a Sunday morning to help out. Special thanks go to our Head Coach Amy Lip and her assistants Christy, Grace, Ika, and Kate. I would also like to acknowledge Amanda, Karina, Ernest, Srichai, and Stephen who chipped in with coaching, marshalling, and managing the various aspects of the Club, as well as our webmaster Rennie for making this website possible. It is good to see people supporting the club instead of having a 'leave-it-to-the-committee' attitude. I can honestly say it has been a pleasure to be your chairperson. Through the gracious assistance of Ms Brenda Smith and the Hong Kong Hockey Association, we have been able to book the Lok Fu pitch again for the coming 2005-06 mini hockey season. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy the summer. In closing, I would like to say I am looking forward to seeing you all again in September, and I hope to see more new players, more volunteers, and more coaches. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, we would very much like to hear from you. You can get in touch with us through the contact list on the Home page. Thank you and warm regards, |
